Bethany Johnson


AAH Core Program

Bethany Johnson is a full-time lecturer at the Department of Art and Art History. She has been teaching courses in the department since 2010 in drawing, two-dimensional design and digital art making.

Bethany Johnson completed her MFA in painting from the University of Texas at Austin in 2011. Her work is shown nationally, and recent exhibitions include: Part of Me Just Wants All of the Things, Mom Gallery, Austin; Off the Charts, 512 Gallery, Albuquerque; Elemental ’Scapes, University of San Antonio; Field Notes, Moody Gallery, Houston; Forces the Will and the Weather, The McKinney Avenue Contemporary, Dallas. Her work is represented at Moody Gallery in Houston, Texas.
