"The Remaining Time," an exhibition featuring works by two alumni, Helen Jones and Ania Safko, and curated by current PhD candidate Donato Loia, will open at Shed-Shows May 5th. The exhibition explores the intimate connection between
time and weather while also reflecting on the fragility of nature.

The public programming for the exhibition includes a screening of the Soviet-era silent movie "Earth" (1930) by Ukrainian director Oleksandr Dovzhenko, with live sonorization by Hunter Prueger, a Butler School of Music alumnus. Middle Sattre, Prueger's music collective, and Austin-based musician and current Art Ed graduate student Pam Reyes will also perform a live concert. The exhibition will also feature a booklet designed by BFA alum Logan Larsen.

Lead support for this exhibition is provided by the University of Texas at Austin College of Fine Arts and the Fine Arts Diversity Council’s Student Project Grant.
