Lecture by curator Ingrid Schaffner
Ingrid Schaffner presents a lecture, Jason Rhoades, Four Roads, about the exhibition she organized at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) at the University of Pennsylvania. Jason Rhodes, Four Roads is the first major American museum exhibition of the artist who died in 2006 at the age of 41.
Schaffner is Chief Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania. She has worked as an independent scholar and organized exhibitions at ICA with artists Karen Kilimnik, Richard Tuttle, Barry Le Va, architect Ann Tyng, illustrator Maira Kalman and others. She curated the influential exhibitions Dirt on Delight: Impulses That Form Clay, Deep Storage: Collecting, Storing and Archiving in Art and Gloria: Another Look at Feminist Art in the 1970s among other projects.
