With their MFA thesis exhibition, the artists in Hero Ready urge us to reckon with what it means to become the subject. Through their work across disciplines, they raise the questions: What are we looking at? What happens to us when we see it? Who has the agency to direct our attention, and where should we look?
Hero Ready presents the culminating work of students receiving master of fine arts degrees in Studio Art. The exhibition is on view through May 25, and be sure to join us for the opening reception on Friday, May 10, 6–8 PM.
