Doug DuBois will present an artist talk highlighting the challenges of creating portraits and sustaining long term, collaborative projects. Photographs from his two published monographs, All the Days and Nights and My Last Day at Seventeen will be featured as well as recent works in progress.


Doug DuBois’ photographs are in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, SanFrancisco Museum of Modern Art, J. Paul Getty Museum, and Los Angeles County Museum of Art. He has received fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation, the MacDowell Colony, and the National Endowment for the Arts. DuBois has exhibited at the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles, the Museum of Modern Art, New York, The Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin, Museo D’arte Contemporanea (MARCO) in Rome. He has published two monographs with Aperture, NY:  All the Days and Nights, and My Last Day at Seventeen. His work for magazines include the New York Times Magazine, Time, Details, GQ and the New Yorker. DuBois teaches in the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University.
