Maps & Parking

The Department of Art and Art History is located in two buildings on the east side of campus, directly north of Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium: the Art Building (ART) and the Doty Fine Arts Building (DFA). The two buildings are across Trinity Street from one another.

You may take a self-guided tour of the department at any time during regular business hours, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, when the university is open.

Parking

Note — All street-level parking spaces on campus require a university permit at all times. Check signs for other restrictions.

Garage Parking

Hourly-rate paid parking is available in two garages near the department:

Metered Street Parking

Metered street parking is available at the edge of campus along E Dean Keeton St, between San Jacinto Blvd and Red River St, and is about a 5-8 minute walk to the Art Building. Meters are enforced Monday–Saturday, 8am–6pm and accept credit cards in addition to coins.
