Tiger Strikes Asteroid, LA is hosting an exhibition of work curated by the feminist collective of sculptors and digital artists MATERIAL GIRLS. In the exhibition, Palms, small sculptures from fifteen artists grab the spotlight, breaking with established social contract in institutional spaces and "[inviting] visitors to temporarily transgress this boundary- allowing them to touch, hold, and move the objects within the context of the exhibition."

MFA candidate Ling-lin Ku and MATERIAL GIRLS founders and alumni Cameron Cameron, Gracelee Lawrence and Rachael Starbuck were among the fifteen artists featured in Palms. The exhibition will be on view from March 16 - April 7, 2019.
